Bargains!

Hello!  I believe in spending time to locate some great bargains online especially I don't drive!  I'm glad that I have a handful of reliable sellers whom I can count on to meet my shopping needs.

Got this summer dress and 6" pumps this week.  Two different sellers in China and I got them within two weeks (from China to Canada).  They cost me less than US$40 in total.

Be a sensible shopper (may become addicted to bargains and overspend) and plan in advance (most sellers deliver within a 6-8 weeks timeline).  Chat with you next time.

My Gallstone Experience

I was diagnosed with gallstones in December 2013.  Medical doctors and specialists all recommended gallbladder removal to fix me.  I was very reluctant to have my gallbladder removed and did lots of research on non-surgery alternatives.  In end April 2014, I did my second ultrasound.  Got a nice surprise confirming no more gallstones on my ultrasound report.

I am sharing what I did (though there is no guarantee that they will work for other gallstone patients):

From December to January
~ THORNE RESEARCH Cysteplus 90 veggie caps (1 veggie cap - 2 times a day)

5 days in end December
~ Drank 1.5 L of pure apple juice (not concentrated) on a daily basis

From December to April
~ PLANETARY HERBALS Stone Free 820mg (2 tablets in the morning and 2 tablets in the evening) OR
~ HERB PHARM Stone Breaker 1 fl oz (30 drops in water or juice - three times a day)
Note:  I rotated them.

From February to March
~ KPC Herbs Jin Qian Cao 100g  (1 tsp in water - three times a day)
~ Stayed away from wheat and gluten free diet

March Cleansing Treatment
~ Day 1*
9:30-10:30 pm  1/4 cup olive oil + 1/4 freshly squeezed lemon juice
10:30-11:00 pm Lie on the right side for 30 minutes
11:00 pm Lie flat and sleep till the next morning (try not to get up)

~ Day 2
6:00-7:00 am 1 tsp edible Epsom salt in 3/4 cup warm water
8:00-9:00 am 2 capsules Magnesium Citrate 150mg with 2-3 cups warm water
10:00 am Light fruit breakfast
12:00-1:00 pm Light lunch
6:00-7:00 pm Regular dinner

~ Day 3*
9:30-10:30 pm  1/4 cup olive oil + 1/4 freshly squeezed lemon juice
10:30-11:00 pm Lie on the right side for 30 minutes
11:00 pm Lie flat and sleep till the next morning (try not to get up)

~ Day 4
6:00-7:00 am 1 tsp edible Epsom salt in 3/4 cup warm water
8:00-9:00 am 2 capsules Magnesium Citrate 150mg with 2-3 cups warm water
10:00 am Light fruit breakfast
12:00-1:00 pm Light lunch

~ Day 5
9:30-10:30 pm  1/2 cup olive oil + 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon juice
10:30-11:00 pm Lie on the right side for 30 minutes
11:00 pm Lie flat and sleep till the next morning (try not to get up)

* As I worried about my reaction to the olive oil/lemon juice recipe, I halved it for the first two cycles.  I also learned from my Naturopathic Doctor that he already halved the suggested recipe considering my body frame.  To play safe, it's better to start with a smaller dosage.

I also would like to point out that I seldom drank water all my life.  I was really bad .. not drinking a glass of water or anything on a daily basis.  Once I learned about my gallstones, I worked very hard to change this bad habit.  From December to April, I was able to drink an average of 4-6 glasses of water/day.  Some days I was able to get up to 8.

It's my mission to drink an average of 6 glasses without feeling sick by July.  Wishing you all Better Health!
